Hi….thanks for stopping by our blog.

It’s been a busy week already and it’s only Tuesday!  Hope all is well in your “neck of the woods”.  We have a new music survey posted so I invite you to take the survey and tell us what you think of the songs on there.

If you haven’t signed up to be part of our Music Advisory team, do so today at mybridgeradio.net  It only takes a few minutes and then you too, can give us your opinion on songs played on My Bridge Radio.

Gordon and I have been talking about kids going back to school and stuff.  Well, my oldest son, Jonah, is in his first full week of middle school, and so far so good.  My husband and I hope it stays good too :)

If you have a school story or memory you would like to share with me on this blog, please do so.  I would love to hear from you.    It’s hard being a “Mama Bear”!

Talk to you tomorrow bright and early.

Helloooooo!

It’s been a while so it’s good to back on the blog.  It’s been a busy summer too.  Hope these last few weeks of your summer are going well.

On he Morning Show today, Gordon and I talked about some good old fashion history stuff…IE:  Who else rode with Paul Revere on his midnight ride and what did Paul Revere call out when he went through the town of Lexington, MA?

So on this same note, I am asking for all history and math teachers to send us your best quiz question!  We want to challenge our minds on the Morning Show….(and see if we can stump Gordon).

We’ll kick off this school year with some trivia from you, our teachers or trivia buffs!

Hope to hear from you today!

Hi all….

How have you been?  Time to bring you up to date with what’s been going on here!

On the Morning Show today, I told you that this is a big day for me as we sent our 6 year old off to first grade.  Well, he’s there as I write this and yes, I cried as I left the school.  I was the last Mom, (a.k.a Mama Bear) to leave the school.   Hmmm…what’s up with that?

Anyway, Jeremiah is well adjusted and Jonah was estatic to have the house all to himself today.  He starts middle school in a few  more weeks.

Other fun things going on….Mark Schultz will be doing a free concert in Omaha on August 2 at the Omaha Royals Family Fun night.  The Omaha Royals baseball team will be playing the Salt Lake Bees.  Stay tuned to My Bridge Radio because we will be giving away some free tickets to the game/concert.

Hope your day goes well.  Write me and let me know what you are up to.  I would love to hear from you….that would make this blog more interactive for the two of us.

Blessings from Mama Bear!

Carol

It is going to be hot, hot, hot today so try to stay cool or in a cool place.  Take the kids to the pool or run through the sprinker, something fun like that!

Hi,

Thanks for stopping by the Morning Show blog.

Gordon and I mentioned the Jesus Nation assembly coming to Lexington on Sunday, July 20 at 10:30a.m.  It will be held at the Lexington High school gym.  Churches in Lexington will forgo their regular Sunday services for this assembly.   It will be a great morning of worship and people coming together to praise the Lord.  It will be awesome.  Please be in prayer for this Jesus Nation event.

Don’t forget to tune in tomorrow morning.  We will be giving away some for Steven Curtis Chapman tickets for his concert this Sunday, July 13 in Freemont.  Check out our web page, mybridgeradio.net for all the details.

See you “on the radio” tomorrow morning.  Have a great day.

Hi…..hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!

Can you imagine playing a sport for more than 77 hours straight?  I sure can’t….yikes!  But that is exactly what is taking place this July 4 weekend.

Students and alumni from Heartland Lutheran High School in Grand Island are hoping to break a record and get entered into the Guinness World Record book for playing 77 hours, 7 minutes and 7 seconds of basketball…WOW!

The marathon game begins Friday, July 4 at 2:00p.m. and will be played, 24/7, until Monday, July 7 at 7:07p.m.  YOU are invited to come and watch these players at the high school gym!  If you can’t make it there, please remember to pray for them during this time.  They are doing this to raise money for bond payments on their school building.  They are hoping to raise $27,000!

If you would like more information on how you can help out, contact the coach, Lloyd Wagnitz at 308-379-2436.

Good luck team….we are all cheering for you here at My Bridge Radio.

Hi and thanks for stopping by.

It was fun spending a part of our morning with you on My Bridge Radio.   Take an umbrella with you today, you just might need it.  And if you kids like to play in the mud, they can probably find lots of puddles around after last night’s rain that came through most of our area!   Oh, the joys of being a kid again :0

Don’t forget to tune into My Bridge radio on Thursday morning as we share our Day of Hope with you.  It will be a special morning just for you or someone you know that may be suffering and going through some hard times right now with their health.

We encourage you to call in so we can pray with you and give you the hope that God so badly wants you to have.  We are a ministry here to serve you and we hope to do just that this Thursday from 6a-10a.

Have a blessed day,

Carol

Well, Gordon and I want to know what your plans are for the summer!  We want to share this with the rest of our listeners….and maybe you will give someone else the idea for some summer fun too!  There is so much to do in our state!  If you have a suggestion on where to go and what to see, BLOG ME TODAY!

On Tuesday’s Morning Show, we will share your suggestions on air.  If you’ve done something really fun and exciting, tell us that too!  Fun under the sun this summer!  What are your plans?
